Will is interested in modelling planetary atmospheres using three-dimensional general circulation models (GCMs), with a specific interest in modelling the atmospheres of solar system planets and moons. Will’s PhD is focused on developing Met Office GCMs for use in forecasting the atmosphere of Mars, with a specific focus and interest in accurately modelling the initiation and evolution of Mars’ irregularly occurring global-coverage dust storms.
